Overview
Baltistan is a land a high mountains and great culture. There were several kingdoms in this region in the past. The old rulers left their marks by building beautiful forts. The Aga Khan Development Network's Cultural wing has taken a giant effort in restoring the very famous forts of Baltit, Altit Fort, Khaplu and Shigar fort. This tour will show you these two forts and will also many more cultural places in the northern Pakistan
